"Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

Our Lord! Lo! we have heard a crier calling unto Faith: "Believe ye in your Lord!" So we believed. Our Lord! Therefor forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.

Our Lord, surely we have heard a Crier calling to the faith, saying: Believe in your Lord. So we do believe. Our Lord, grant us protection from our sins and remove our evils and make us die with the righteous.

Word by Word:

Then responded to them their Lord, "Indeed, (will) not (let go) waste deeds (of the) doer among you [from] (whether) male or female each of you from (the) other. So those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and were harmed in My way and fought and were killed - surely I (will) remove from them their evil deeds and surely I will admit them (to) Gardens flowing from underneath them the rivers - a reward from [near] Allah. And Allah - with Him (is the) best reward."

Translations:

And thus does their Sustainer answer their prayer: "I shall not lose sight of the labour of any of you who labours [in My way], be it man or woman: each of you is an issue of the other. Hence, as for those who forsake the domain of evil, and are driven from their homelands, and suffer hurt in My cause, and fight [for it], and are slain - I shall most certainly efface their bad deeds, and shall most certainly bring them into gardens through which running waters flow, as a reward from God: for with God is the most beauteous of rewards."

And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered h arm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of God, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

And their Lord hath heard them (and He saith): Lo! I suffer not the work of any worker, male or female, to be lost. Ye proceed one from another. So those who fled and were driven forth from their homes and suffered damage for My cause, and fought and were slain, verily I shall remit their evil deeds from them and verily I shall bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow - A reward from Allah. And with Allah is the fairest of rewards.

So their Lord accepted their prayer, (saying): I will not suffer the work of any worker among you to be lost whether male or female, the one of you being the other. So those who fled and were driven forth from their homes and persecuted in My way and who fought and were slain, I shall truly remove their evil and make them enter Gardens wherein flow rivers -- a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the best reward.

And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah , and Allah has with Him the best reward."

(Let) not deceive you (the) movement (of) those who disbelieved in the land.

Translations:

LET IT NOT deceive thee that those who are bent on denying the truth seem to be able to do as they please on earth:

Let not the strutting about of the Unbelievers through the land deceive thee:

Let not the vicissitude (of the success) of those who disbelieve, in the land, deceive thee (O Muhammad).

Let not control in the land of those who disbelieve, deceive thee.

Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.

Word by Word:

An enjoyment little, then their abode (is) hell - [and] a wretched [the] resting place.

Translations:

it is [but] a brief enjoyment, with hell thereafter as their goal - and how vile a resting-place! -

Little is it for enjoyment: Their ultimate abode is Hell: what an evil bed (To lie on)!

It is but a brief comfort. And afterward their habitation will be hell, an ill abode.

A brief enjoyment! Then their abode is hell. And evil is the resting-place.

[It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.
