المؤمنون
23 - The Believers (Al-Mu'minun)
Order of Revelation: 74قُل لِّمَنِ الْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهَا إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Qul limani al-ardu waman feeha in kuntum taAAlamoona
Say, "To whom (belongs) the earth and whoever (is) in it, if you know?"
Say: Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!"
Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!"
Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge?
Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know?
Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?"
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tathakkaroona
They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will not you remember?"
[And they will reply: Unto God." Say: Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?"
They will say, "To God!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?"
They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember?
They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind?
They will say, "To Allah ." Say, "Then will you not remember?"
قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Qul man rabbu alssamawati alssabAAi warabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi
Say, "Who (is the) Lord (of) the seven heavens and (the) Lord (of) the Throne the Great?"
Say: Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?"
Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?"
Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne?
Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne of power?
Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?"
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tattaqoona
They will say, "Allah." Say, "Then will not you fear (Him)?"
[And] they will reply: [All this power belongs] to God." Say: Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?"
They will say, "(They belong) to God." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?"
They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)?
They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard against evil?
They will say, "[They belong] to Allah ." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?"
قُلْ مَن بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Qul man biyadihi malakootu kulli shay-in wahuwa yujeeru wala yujaru AAalayhi in kuntum taAAlamoona
Say, Who is (it) in Whose Hand(s) (is the) dominion (of) all things, and He protects and no (one) (can) be protected against Him, If you know?"
Say: In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!"
Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know."
Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge?
Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and He protects, and none is protected against Him, if you know?
Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ
Sayaqooloona lillahi qul faanna tusharoona
They will say, "Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"
[And] they will reply: [All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?"
They will say, "(It belongs) to God." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?"
They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched?
They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Whence are you then deceived?
They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah ." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"
