ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ
Transliteration:
Thumma laqataAAna minhu alwateena

Then certainly We (would) have cut off from the aorta.
Translations:
and would indeed have cut his life-vein.
And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:
And then severed his life-artery,
Then cut off his heart's vein.
Then We would have cut from him the aorta.
