51:25

إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ

Transliteration:

Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala salamun qawmun munkaroona

Word by Word:

When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." He said, "Peace, a people unknown."

Translations:

When those [heavenly messengers] came unto him and bade him peace, he answered, [And upon you be] peace!" - [saying to himself,] They are strangers."

Behold, they entered his presence, and said: "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people."

When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me).

When they came to him, they said: Peace! Peace! said he. Strangers!

When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.
