36:82

إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

Transliteration:

Innama amruhu itha arada shay-an an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoonu

Word by Word:

Only His Command when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.

Translations:

His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, Be" ¬ó and it is.

Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!

But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.

His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it, Be, and it is.

His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
