وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
Transliteration:
Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
Word by Word:
And (the) people (of) Nuh before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.
Translations:
And [thus, too, We destroyed] Noah's people aforetime: for they were iniquitous folk.
So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed.
And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk.
And the people of Noah before. Surely they were a transgressing people.
And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.
