16:74
فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا لِلَّهِ الْأَمْثَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration:
Fala tadriboo lillahi al-amthala inna Allaha yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
Word by Word:
So (do) not put forth for Allah the similitude. Indeed, Allah knows and you (do) not know.
Translations:
Hence, do not coin any similitudes for Gods Verily, God knows [all], whereas you have no [real] knowledge.
Invent not similitudes for God: for God knoweth, and ye know not.
So coin not similitudes for Allah. Lo! Allah knoweth; ye know not.
So coin not similitudes for Allah. Surely Allah knows and you know not.
So do not assert similarities to Allah . Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.
