قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الْأَحْلَامِ بِعَالِمِينَ
Transliteration:
Qaloo adghathu ahlamin wama nahnu bita/weeli al-ahlami biAAalimeena
Word by Word:
They said, "Confused dreams, and not we (are) in the interpretation (of) the dreams learned."
Translations:
They answered: " [This is one of] the most involved and confusing of dreams, and we have no deep knowledge of the real meaning of dreams."
They said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
They answered: Jumbled dreams! And we are not knowing in the interpretation of dreams.
They said: Confused dreams and we know not the interpretation of dreams.
They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
